Understanding Your Revenue Share
At Klana Tech, our success is tied to yours. Our revenue-sharing model is at the heart of our partnership philosophy. It’s designed to be simple, transparent, and motivating for both parties. This guide explains how it works.
What is Revenue Sharing?
Revenue sharing is a compensation model where you, the idea originator, receive a percentage of the after-expenses revenue generated by the application we build together. This aligns our interests: we both succeed when the app succeeds.
How It Works

Choose Your Plan: When you partner with us, you select a plan that defines two key financial components:
- Upfront Payment: A one-time fee to initiate the development process. This contributes to the initial design, development, and project management resources.
- Revenue Share Percentage: The portion of the after-expenses revenue you will receive for the lifetime of the app.

App Launch and Monetization: Once your app is launched, it will start generating revenue through the monetization strategies we agreed upon (e.g., in-app purchases, subscription fees, ad revenue).

Transparent Reporting: You will have access to a dashboard that provides insights into your apps' financial performance. You can also request other information and documents by contacting our support team (support@klanatech.com).

Monthly Payouts: Your share of the revenue is calculated and updated on your dashboard on a monthly basis. We handle all the complexities of payment processing and service fees (Stripe, Google Workspace, database services, domain registration, etc.). The percentage you receive is based on the after-expenses revenue.

Payouts at any time: You can request a payout at any time. You will first need to connect your account with our payout processor (Stripe). Then, you can access your project page and click the "Withdraw" button.
Example Scenario
Let's say your app generates $11,000 in gross revenue in a single month and the expenses for the app (like database services, etc.) are $1,000. If your partnership plan includes a 50% revenue share, your payout for that month would be $5,000.
(Gross Revenue - Expenses) * Revenue Share Percentage = Your Share
($11,000 - $1,000) * 50% = $5,000
This is a simplified example, but it illustrates the core concept. The actual amounts will vary based on your app's performance and your chosen plan.
